U11 Team Winners of U12 Division 5
Naas Ladies Juvenile Section hosted their annual Awards Night on Friday 25th November in Naas Gaa Club house. It was very well attended and all those in attendance thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the great success of the teams in the spring and autumn leagues. The u11 players won the u12 Division 5 while the u12 team shared the Division 1 title wiith Clane in the spring league while the u15 team went unbeaten in their group and eventually won the u15 title Division 3 in the autumn league ; a very exciting match against Confey. Many players on this team are still eligible to play u15 next year and the following year. The u13 teams participated in u13 league Division 3 and Division 5 respectively. These teams included u12 and u13 players in both leagues and they performed very well in all their matches; the Division 3 team narrowly missing the latter stages of the competition while the Division 5 team were runners up in the final. The Minor team also won Division 1; defeating Celbridge after extra time in a most exciting encounter. Many of this squad were underage and portends well for the future .Naas ladies Football Section would like to gratefully acknowledge the generous sponsorship of Naas Tyres who sponsored a set of jerseys for the u12 team and their representative Robert Ferguson was in attendance on the night. Naas look forward to an enjoyable and successful season in 2012.
