First up was the under 11 group, who were coached by Martin Hamilton, Martin paid tribute to the girls, all of whom have displayed great skill and commitment throughout the year. All girls were presented with a pair of football gloves.
Next up was the under 13 team, mentored by Patsy Kelly and Mary Jo Merriins. Mary Jo acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the girls who played so well to get to a Division 1 final, which they were unlucky to lose by a solitary point.

John made the point that it was not just for on the field performance that the girls were selected for, but that factors such as overall attitude and attendance at training were also taken into consideration in selecting the award recipients.
Minor player of the year was presented by Club Chairman John Kilbride, who mentored the minor team in 2011, The award for most improved player went to Sarah Kelly, player of the year at minor level was Phillipa Cains, who gave many fine displays of football throughout the year.  The evening finished with a disco and refreshments.

AGM
Kildangan Nurney Ladies AGM will take place in Kildangan Clubhouse on 28th January 2012 at 5.00 pm
Founded in 2007 to give a football outlet to the many girls and ladies in Kildangan and Nurney, the club has gone from strength to strength since, however we would appeal for more people getting involved, both in the day today running of the club, and as mentors or coaches. Last year we had a vast increase of new players in the under 8 to under  12 categories, and this group in particular need more help. If you can spare an hour or two once or twice a week and have an interest in coaching or mentoring please come along and get involved. There will be several coaching courses before the season starts so previous experience is not essential.
